The first generation Subaru Impreza was born in 1992.
-The strongest model WRX, which was set for participation in the WRC (World Rally Championship), was initially set only for sedans, but was added to wagons in 1993.
-In addition, since 1994, the WRXSTi version created by Subaru Technica International (STi) has been added, evolving year by year.
-In 1999, the final version VI was reached, and the first generation was a long-lived model for 8 years until the full model change of the following year.
