The first generation later had more engine variations, such as naturally aspirated and 2.5-liter engines, and after a major minor change in 2000, it became a popular model that was produced until 2002. TLV-NEO has recently produced a new mold for the early model of the first-generation Forester. By creating separate molds for the bonnet, the turbo model (N327a) and the naturally aspirated engine model (N328a) are reproduced.
